I bought the tocco lite payg version as an upgrade from an older phone. It is a reasonably priced phone which has touch sensitive screen and browser and email capability. I found the touch screen accurate and easy to use. The display is bright and I had the essentials up and running fast. Each display is clear and well sized. I did load a memory card but the slot is poorly placed within the phone itself and not available externally. I found setting up the browser and email facility somewhat difficult but found help from the web. Not only do samsung use their own proprietary earphoe/charging socket, but tocco would not accept the lead from my earlier samsung. I bought a locked version and have since had it unlocked. Overall - a nice machine.

my goodness I dislike this phone intensely. I've had it since Christmas and I knew quite soon that I had made the wrong choice. I wanted a replacement for my faithful Motorola Razr which had given up the ghost. I decided to upgrade to a smartphone - bad idea. I'm not a bright young techie, I'm a middle-aged technophobe (ish) and I just cannot get this wretched Tocco thingie to do what I want it to. As I say, I'm sure it's me being stupid but I find it so difficult to scroll through my list of contacts when sending a text to several people. I have to press so hard to get the thing to scroll I invariably end up opening a contact I don't want - and for the life of me I can't figure out how to get it to switch to predictive text! Part of the problem may be that I also have an iPod Touch which is so beautifully easy and smooth to use, trying to use the scroll on the Tocco after my wonderful iPod is going from the sublime to the ridiculous. But then again, you do get what you pay for in life I suppose. So, after 8 long months I have decided to throw in the towel. I'm going to buy another phone and see if I can sell the Samsung.

This is a great phone to have,it is styalish,light easy to use and all according to where you get it from very cheap.With this phone it is very easy to write out and send text messages,personalising it is also very easy and fun to do,if you get a mini SD Card you can burn photo's,songs and images on it and then use them for ringtones,photo id's or background pictures.I have had one of these phones for nearly a year and have had no problems with it,my wife liked it so much I bought her one to replace her old one and she loves it.

Not being an electronic gadget nurd, I found this phone the ideal upgrade for me. From first switch on and following the instruction book I had no trouble getting familier with the Samsung S5230.

For my son - he hasn't used it yet as where we live we cant use vodafone and it needs to be unlocked.
