Thank goodness for Amazon! I had one of the other Casio watches, but fell in the recent snow and snapped the strap. Normally I would have taken it to the jeweller's to e fixed, however it was easier (not to mention cheaper) to buy a new watch. It came within a matter of a few days, and though it hasn't all the bells and whistles of my old one all I need is time and date!
Great watch and fantastic service.

I bought this watch on the strength of the very helpful previous reviews and it really lives up to expectations.Naturally,as expected for this price the overall feel is not luxurious and I wouldn't expect the strap to take too much rough treatment, but its simplicity makes it ideal for our 13 year old son. It is light, sleek, stylish and easy to use, and was given a surprisingly enthusiastic reception by a skater boy who is keen to protect his cool image. The flat easily adjusted strap is ideal for smaller wrists. As usual a bargain price on Amazon.

5 stars for this watch, can't really fault it for the price. Good for many occasions - running, swimming, other sports, holidays even suitable if you're going for a retro look.
Compared to the expensive designer watches this would trump them any day simply because of the functionality and ease of use - stopwatch, alarm, light.
Probably not a good idea to where with a suit though.
Even after a lot of usage watch stays in pretty good condition. Doesn't get scratched easily.

I bought this watch a few days before Christmas 2009 & it arrived in time for the big day. I had one of these watches for some years, but (as I recall) it was waterproofed to 100M. This one describes itself on the back as 'Water Resistant 5BAR' - which begs the question - is it rainproof, or not? On the face, it proclaims 'Water Resist 50M', which sounds better than '5BAR'. That said, it does everything it says on the box & is excellent value for money. It doesn't take much effort to learn what the buttons do & it's comfortable to wear. Certainly this model is tried & proved & well worth the money.

Seems tiny when you actually put it on your wrist. The price of this watch does not reflect it's quality, the design is simple yet smart. I give this watch 4 stars - not bad at all.
